Blues For The Blue
The Germain BMW Of Naples Blues For The Blue Concert presented by Wintrust Community Banks and Beasley Media Group was held Sunday March 31, 2019 at Cambier Park in Naples FL from 4pm-9pm.
This was a FREE Blues Concert to benefit The Fallen Officers and The Robert L. Zore Foundation.
We had a great line up including Little Eddie And The Fat Fingers, InBlue and the famous Blues Brothers! The Blues Brothers were chased into the park by our Collier County Sheriff's Office!Over 2,500 people turned out for this great event. We encouraged donations upon entry and during the show. We also had food trucks set up, vendors and more! It was an amazing night honoring families of the fallen and recognizing officers for their achievements. We presented three checks to families including Fallen Officer Adam Jobbers-Miller Fort Myers Police, Steven Greco Miccosukee Police and to Officer Reyes with The Naples Police Department who's daughter has cancer. We also recognized Officer Kyle Palooza, Officer Kyle Yurewitch and Officer Matthew Zarillo. Governor Ron DeSantis could not make it in person but sent a very heart warming video which was displayed before the concert. We had a very special "Blue Light Stick" memorial where everyone entering the park received a "Blue Light Stick" when we read the "Role Call" of every Fallen Officer of 2019 people raised their light sticks into the heavens to honor the Fallen Officers. The Role calls was proceeded by "Taps" It was a very special moment at Cambier Park to remember our fallen and honor their families.
